Descriptive: My photograph of my driver's license is descriptive because the purpose is to act as proof of legal identification.

Explanatory: Hector Vivas's photograph is explanatory because it shows US gymnastics star Simon Biles on the beam doing a beam dismount with a back handspring into a twisting back flip.

Interpretive: My photograph is interpretive because it shows an abstract painting with many different shapes and models and overlapping layers that allows the viewer to come to their own conclusion about the meaning of the image.

Aesthetically Evaluative: My photograph is aesthetically evaluative because it shows the warm lighting, rich colors, and wood bar to give a inviting stylish yet stylish atmosphere.

Ethically Evaluative: Andrea Booher's photograph is ethically evaluative because it documents the immediate aftermath of the devastation caused by 9/11 and the New York City Fire Department coordinating with the city in order to find survivors and recover bodies from the falling debris and aftermath.

Theoretical: M.C. Escher's photograph is theoretical because it shows the non-euclidean black and white staircase that seems to defy all known laws of physics and the ideas of parallel lines never intersecting and how all of the shapes seem to be visually "wrong".
